Considering that its activities started in 2008, Fraunhofer AICOS has managed to sustain a significant headcount growth rate.

From a functional point of view, Fraunhofer AICOS has 76% of its collaborators dedicated to scientific activities (corresponding to the headcount of R&D department) and 24% of its collaborators dedicated to support activities (corresponding to the headcount of the remaining departments).

The Fraunhofer AICOS team presents a quite young average age (28 years). In terms of gender distribution, the male gender is dominant (88%).

When analyzing the educational level of Fraunhofer AICOS collaborators, we can see that the great majority of our staff (94%) has a university degree (9% with a PhD, 38% with an MSc and 47% with a Bachelor degree).
