After the finalists’ presentations in the Challenge Closing Event - held in Fraunhofer AICOS offices on the 20th of October - the Jury and Panel of Experts decided how to award the ideas that best incorporate the Challenge’s purpose of motivating and awarding ‘research of practical utility’. The attribution of the scientific prizes was as follows:

* Given the quality level of the presented ideas, the Jury and Panel of Experts decided to attribute an ex-aequo 2nd prize to two of the finalist ideas.
