Associação Fraunhofer Portugal ResearchFraunhofer Portugal had the honor of receiving in its Campo Alegre premises a visit from two representatives from the Spanish region of Andalusia: Mr. Juan Martinez-Barea, General Secretary of Innovation in the Regional Government of Andalusia, and Mr. Adolfo Borrero Villalón, President of ETICOM (Empresarios de las Tecnologías de la Información y Comunicación de Andalucía).
The visit to Fraunhofer AICOS research center allowed our visitors to gain a better knowledge of Fraunhofer Portugal’s R&D activities, as well as understanding the strategic rationale behind Fraunhofer Portugal’s governance model and the collaboration between the Portuguese Government and Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft.
Moreover, the visit also presented the opportunity of identifying prospects for collaboration between Fraunhofer Portugal and its research center AICOS with companies and research institutions from Andalusia.
